Exploring exciting sonic palettes along with his band, Julian Costello & Vertigo, the bandleader’s saxophones combine with cello, vocals, drums, guitar or oud and, from time to time, Tabla to create lavish cinematic textures and rich world music grooves.

 

‘Vertigo’, their latest album, was released to high praise on Elsden Music, Jazzviews listing it as one of their top ten albums of 2024.

To promote the record, the band performed three of Julian’s compositions live in-session on BBC Radio 3's In Tune and he was interviewed by host Sean Rafferty.
